Allied Fighter Jets Secure the Skies Over Eastern Europe

In response to Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, NATO significantly bolstered its air policing mission in Eastern Europe. Watch fighter jets from a dozen NATO nations patrolling the skies over Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Romania. Their mission is crucial: deter aggression and safeguard Allied airspace. To achieve this, they rely on a multi-layered defense network. Additionally, NATO's Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft provide vital situational awareness, keeping pilots informed of potential threats.
