NATO Supports Cyber Defense Programme for Ukraine

In December 2014, NATO initiated a Trust Fund project to support cyber defense in Ukraine, with the help of eight contributing nations. These funds facilitated the establishment of a monitoring center and cyber incident investigation laboratories. Notably, Romania has taken the lead in this initiative, with its state-owned cyber defense company, RASIROM, managing the program. During the NATO Summit in Warsaw, cyberspace was officially recognized as a new domain of warfare, alongside air, land, and sea. This acknowledgment underscores NATO's commitment to enhancing network protection and cyber capabilities.
