Special Operations Forces from seven NATO Allies, as well as observers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, came together in Albania for Exercise Strong Balkan 23 that took place from 31 October – 10 November 2023. Soldiers tested their skills in demanding scenarios – freefall jumps, vehicle interdiction, and building clearing. This annual event fosters better cooperation, allows allies to learn from one another’s experiences and improves collaboration for tackling future security threats.
